For his final MALS project, Barry Corke explored the life of prominent Delawarean, Marjorie Speakman.  WDDE, Delaware Public Media, worked with Barry to create a segment of their History Matters series focusing on his research.

Marjorie Speakman was an activist and businesswoman who, among her many accomplishments, served on President Eisenhower’s Committee for Small Business. At the time, she was the first and only woman on the committee. 

In the video, Barry gives an overview of his research on this extraordinary woman.
